AI Transformation
AI transformation is the redesign of an organization's processes, roles, and decision-making so that AI becomes how the organization works, not a tool the organization owns. It typically takes 6–18 months and addresses culture, process, and people in addition to technology.
Successful AI transformations follow a five-phase cycle (audit → strategy → implement → empower → evolve) and treat the technology layer as roughly 20% of the work. The remaining 80% is operating-model design, change management, and competency building.
AI Transformation in practice
In practice, an AI transformation runs as a series of waves, each with an owner and a measured result: a readiness check, a ranked list of workflows, one pilot in daily use, staff training, then the next wave.
