How long does an AI transformation engagement take?

A typical AI transformation runs 3–12 months end-to-end, depending on scope. Audit and strategy take 6–12 weeks combined; first wave of implementation runs 3–6 months; empowerment and evolve phases run in parallel from month 3 onward. We do not run multi-year transformations — if a vendor is pitching you a three-year roadmap, ask what they ship in the first 90 days.

Do you build custom AI agents, or do you use off-the-shelf tools?

Custom agent development is reserved for high-volume, domain-specific workflows where retraining or fine-tuning produces measurable accuracy gains — usually a regulated context like clinical decision support, legal document review, or financial compliance.

We embed governance from week one of every engagement — policy templates, RACI matrices, approval workflows, and incident-response playbooks — because deploying AI without governance is the fastest way to a regulator-mandated rollback.
