LLM integration is the work of embedding a large language model into existing business systems — CRM, ERP, ticketing, document repositories — so that AI capabilities are accessible from the tools employees already use, with proper authentication, audit logging, and data isolation.
LLM Integration in practice
Typical integrations: a CRM that drafts follow-up emails from the account history, a helpdesk that suggests replies grounded in the knowledge base, an ERP that extracts fields from supplier documents. Most of the work sits around the model: identity and permissions, prompts under version control, an evaluation set run before each release, cost limits and logs.
