A typical AI transformation runs 3–12 months end-to-end, depending on scope. Audit and strategy take 6–12 weeks combined; first wave of implementation runs 3–6 months; empowerment and evolve phases run in parallel from month 3 onward. We do not run multi-year transformations — if a vendor is pitching you a three-year roadmap, ask what they ship in the first 90 days.

AI consulting from Remolda delivers four concrete outputs: an AI readiness scorecard with gap analysis, a target operating model document with annotated workflows, a deployed first-wave implementation (typically 1–3 production AI workflows), and a competency curriculum for the staff who will operate them. We do not deliver decks-only.

We baseline KPIs in the audit phase, project realistic deltas in strategy, and report against the baseline monthly during evolve. We use both, with a strong preference for off-the-shelf where possible. Frontier APIs (Claude, GPT, Gemini) plus integration glue handle 80% of practical agent use cases. Custom agent development is reserved for high-volume, domain-specific workflows where retraining or fine-tuning produces measurable accuracy gains — usually a regulated context like clinical decision support, legal document review, or financial compliance.

AI governance is the system of policies, controls, and accountabilities that determines what AI is allowed to do inside the organization and how decisions are audited. We embed governance from week one of every engagement — policy templates, RACI matrices, approval workflows, and incident-response playbooks — because deploying AI without governance is the fastest way to a regulator-mandated rollback.
